At Dirt Calc. we provide earthwork takeoffs for busy contractors. We build 3D earthwork take-off models using the most advanced software in the industry. Taking two dimensional plans, or AutoCAD software files we turn into a 3D earthwork takeoff model using AGTEK software. Using these 3D models, we generate valuable data using our software that can be used for bidding and estimating projects. The dirt work takeoff compares the existing topography with the proposed design/subgrade and outputs precise cut and fill estimates.  These reports are designed for general contractors, owners, architects, developers, home builders, engineers and subcontractors.

Our team specializes in picking up every high and low elevation point, ridge lines, top and toe of slopes and break lines. Most projects leave our shop in one to three days. Rush turn around available upon request and based on schedule demands.

Our construction material take-off reports can be used to figure rock, clay, import, export, areas of interest, excavation, grading, stored materials and balancing sites. In addition to dirt work estimates we can figure asphalt, concrete, building pads, curb/gutter, gravel, cement, landscaping and planting. The volumes report categorizes and breaks out areas separately for design/sub-grade and existing/demolition surfaces.

We provide additional services upon request and at additional rates. Some of these services are comparing new revisions/project plans to previous takeoff results, applying shrink/swell factors, creating special ed model layers such as bore logs for rock layers, preloading buildings, vault excavation, back-fill & utilities trenching. If you require additional services, please provide the details and direction in advance. These are not a part of our standard takeoff package, nor part of our “not to exceed” quote.

Our earthwork takeoff software reports include: Cut and Fill Grid Maps, Multiple Three-Dimensional Graphics, Detailed Volumes Reports, Job Site Summary, Design/Sub-grade and Existing/Demolition Surface Maps. Also, we can supply the 3d model upon request. These tools can be utilized for bidding, cost estimates, engineering discrepancies and during all phases of construction

This means that a contractor looking at a project will know, to the cubic yard, how much dirt will be imported or exported to finish the construction of a site.
